Working under the guidance of the Scientific Officer to implement project activities including;
Conduct field trials and glasshouse activities under the supervision of the Scientific Officer
Collect data, conduct analysis and maintain records of all activities undertaken under the project;
Prepare inputs for technical and project reports and publications as requested by the Project Leader;
Assist in the preparation of periodic progress reports, technical papers, and presentations for meetings and annual reports as needed for donors, project beneficiaries, and team members;
Good working knowledge of legume cultivation
Exposure to handling variety evaluation trials;
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Telugu;
Proficiency in the use of various software applications (MS Word, MS Excel);
Energetic and enthusiastic personality with an urge to improve the agricultural systems.
Strong team person and willing to work as part of an extended team comprising several agencies.
Diploma/Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture and at least 2 years experience in legume cultivation, extension or research activities.
This is a Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) cadre position, for one year, renewable on an annual basis depending on performance and the projects continuing need for the position.
