Job Description

ICRISAT invites applications from dynamic Indian nationals for the position of Lab Assistant Genetic Gains. The position is based at ICRISAT, Patancheru, Telangana India.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the group in the activities related to:
  • Support glass house laboratory activities in finger millet projects
  • Data entry/editing of experimental data
  • Support in the laboratory activities whenever required
  • Support in conducting glass house experiments and data recording
  • Carry out other pertinent activities as requested by supervisor
Essential Criteria:
  • Intermediate/ Diploma
  • 2-3 years relevant experience in the lab and/or glass-house operations
  • Proficiency in data entry
  • Work in a team environment
  • Perform duties assigned by supervisor
  • Candidates with Four-wheeler driving license will be preferred
General:

This is a locally recruited staff (LRS) position for three years, renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the institutes continuing need for the position. An attractive compensation is offered for the right candidate.
