ICRISAT seeks applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Technical Associate (Landscaping) to be based at ICRISATs Headquarters, Hyderabad India
Assist in scheduling day-to-day landscaping operations and monitoring all landscaping activities in and around the building and campus area to keep it neat and clean
Maintain lawns, nursery, avenue trees, flower beds, hedges, garden/parks, flora and fauna in the campus and orchards
Arrange decorative and ornamental plants in the offices/labs during Institute events, workshops, meeting and conferences
Perform and supports horticultural practices that encourage overall plant health as required
Schedule and monitoring irrigation in lawn area and orchard
Knowledge in nursery management and expert in labor management
Maintain records of daily work
Diploma in Agriculture/ Horticulture with minimum 2 to 3 years of experience aged below 40 years
Possessing a valid RTA, Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is preferable
Should be able to speak (Telugu, Hindi, and English) & read/write simple English
Should be a good team player and adaptable to work in a multicultural team
Should stay on site/close to ICRISAT campus for attending to emergencies after office hours and holidays
This is a Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) position for three years renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the institutes continuing need for the position.
